This long road to somewhere is actually heading in the direction of Reims in North Eastern France. Wheat fields here go on and on and on ...so amazing to see and drive through.

Wow, how gorgeous!!! And how funny with that one little building there all by itself!! Certainly helps make this an outstanding image, though!!! :)))

Laurie, thanks very much! Those practical little buildings were placed here and there to be shelter or hold farm tools:)

Lainie, this was my selection for discussion today in the Minimalism in Photography Group. I appreciate the surrealistic nature of this landscape. With this choice of framing, I feel as if I am seeing the curvature of the earth. I wonder if this road will lead me over the edge? Beautifully composed! voted
Lainie Wrightson replied:
Cheri, thank you very much for selecting "Long Road to Somewhere" for a discussion topic ... and for your kind words which I really appreciate. All I can say about "over the edge" is that I went there:):):) Thanks again ... most sincerely, Lainie
