Description
The costumes of Provence are made of beautiful fabrics. These ladies were waiting between dances during "La Bravade" La Garde Freinet, France. The different aspects of “La Bravade” are indeed some of the best ways of keeping the traditions of Provence alive. The procession of the Saints, the fife and drums, music, language, provincial costumes, traditional dance, blunder busts and muskets are all amazing parts of this experience. Along with Church, the Provencal Players remain true in their faith and preserving this art. I applaud them for their dedication and for sharing their history and traditions with us.

Love this one, too! I can imagine what these cute patterned dresses look like in dance.
