Bob, if you look closely you will see that an actual double window is in the place that at one time was an old doorway. The old steps are still there and the pot of flowers keeps feet off. To the left is another step that leads to the now used front door:) The reason for all of this could be that two small houses were joined:) Thanks for your super comment:)
